PRAISE
& GLORY TO OUR GOD!
The LORD reigns, He is
robed in Majesty,
The LORD is robed in majesty and is armed with
strength.
The world is firmly
established; it cannot be moved.
Your throne was established long
ago;
You are from all eternity.(Psalm 93.)
For
the LORD is the great God, The great King above all gods.
In
His hand are the depths of the Earth,
And the mountain peaks
belong to Him. The sea is His,
For He
made it, and His hands formed the dry land.
Come
let us bow down in worship,
Let us kneel before the LORD our
Maker;
for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture,
the flock under His care.
(John's
vision in Rev.4...)
"After
this I looked and there before me was a door standing open in Heaven.
And the voice I first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, "Come
up here and I will show you what must take place after this."
[All the great End Time events culminating in the glorious return of
Jesus to Earth.] At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was
a throne in Heaven, with Someone sitting on it. And the One who sat
there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian. A rainbow
resembling an emerald encircled the throne. Surrounding the throne
were 24 other thrones and seated on them were 24 elders. They were
dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. From the
throne came flashes of lightening, rumblings and peals of thunder.
Before the throne, seven menorahs were blazing. These are the
seven-fold Spirit of God. Also before the throne was what looked like
a glassy sea, clear as crystal.” "
MEDITATION
ON MY GLORIOUS GOD!
Oh, the depth of the riches of
the
Wisdom and knowledge of GOD!
How
unsearchable are his judgements,
And His paths beyond tracing
out!
Who has known the mind of the
LORD?
Or who has been His Counselor?
Who
has ever given to God,
That God should repay Him?
For
from Him, and through Him and to Him are all things.
TO HIM BE
GLORY FOREVER! AMEN. (Romans 11: 33 - 36.)
(Songs
of the redeemed around the throne...)
Salvation belongs to
our God
Who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.
(Song
of the angels, elders and 4 Living creatures...)
"Amen!
Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks
and honour and power and
strength
Be to our God for ever and
ever. Amen!" (Revelation 7.)
(The
victorious saints over the beast and his image and over the number of
his name.
They sang the song of Moses
the servant of God and the song of the Lamb. Revel'n 15.)
"Great
and marvellous are Your deeds,
LORD God Almighty.
Just
and true are Your ways, King of the Ages, (= Goyim).
Who will not
fear You, O LORD,
And bring glory
to Your great Name? For You alone are Holy.
All
nations will come and worship before You,
For
Your righteous acts have been revealed."
"Hallelujah!
Salvation & glory & power belong to our God for true and just
are His judgements... Praise our God all you His servants,
You
who fear Him, small and great!" (Two songs from Revelation
19.)
GOD
GIVEN GLIMPSES INTO HIS THRONE ROOM...
(Part
of Ezekiel's vision in chapter 1, after a vivid, detailed description
of the majestic surroundings and worshipping beings and the Voice of
God.)
"Then there came a voice from above the expanse
over their
heads as they stood with lowered wings.
"High
above on the throne was a figure like that of a Man
... I saw ...
brilliant light surrounded Him.
Like the appearance of a rainbow
in the clouds on a rainy day,
so was the radiance round about
Him.
This was the appearance of the glory of the LORD."
(The
Apostle John also gave us some insights to glory...)
"I
turned to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I
saw 7 golden menorahs and among them was Someone like a Son of Man,
[Yeshua/Jesus’ name for himself], dressed in a robe reaching
down to His feet and with a golden sash around His chest. His head
and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were
like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace,
and His voice like the sound of rushing waters. In His right hand He
held 7 stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp double-edged sword.
His Face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
When
I saw Him I fell at His feet as though dead. Then He placed His right
hand on me, and said, 'Do not be afraid. I AM the first and the last.
I AM the Living One; I was dead, and behold I AM alive for ever and
ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.' "
[The place
of departed human spirits.]
Seven
times in His letters to the Believers He says... 'I will
give...'
Fruit from the Tree of Life in Paradise, the crown of
Life, hidden manna & a stone, rulership, white robes and
announced name, also a special new name, and the right to sit with Me
on My throne...
In the centre
around the throne, were 4 Living Creatures...
Day and night they
never stopped saying:
"Holy, holy,
holy
is the LORD God Almighty,
Who
was and is and is to come."
Whenever
the Living Creatures give glory, honour and thanks
toHim Who sits
on the throne and Who lives for ever and ever, The 14 Elders fall
down before Him Who sits on the throne, and worship Him Who lives for
ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:
"You
are worthy our LORD and God,
to receive
glory and honour and power,
for You
created all things,
and by Your will
they were created and have their being."
Solomon
saw a lot of 'glory' but realised...
"When I applied
my mind to know wisdom and to observe man's labour on Earth - his
eyes not sleeping day or night - then I saw all that God has done. No
one can comprehend what goes on under the sun. Despite all his
efforts to search it out, man cannot discover its meaning. Even if a
wise man claims he knows, he cannot really comprehend it."
Eccl.8.
(Isaiah
wrote of his special experience...)
"In the year that
[the good king] Uzziah died,
I saw the
LORD seated on a throne, high and exalted,
and
the train of His robe filled the Temple.
Above
Him were seraphs, each with 6 wings: with two they covered their
faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were
flying. And they were calling to one another:
'Holy, holy, holy is
the LORD Almighty;
The whole Earth is
full of His glory.' "
At the
sound of their voices the door posts and thresholds shook
and the
Temple was filled with smoke." [Isaiah chapter 6.]
