"Road Map to Perdition" ~ Or Part of God's Strategy?
Bible Study on contemporary events in
ISRAEL from an alternative point of view, regarding
“DIVIDING THE LAND”

(using The NIV & Jewish N.T. Scriptures)

INTRODUCTION: "The Road Map to Middle East Peace."
After the beginning of the USA/British led war in Iraq, a proposal from 'the Quartet' of UNO, E.U, USA & Russia, was promoted to try to bring about a stable situation (after much bloodshed and violence), between the Israelis and Arab Palestinians. It is called "The Road Map to Middle East Peace."

It was especially promoted by President George W Bush, (2000 -2008) partly to placate Muslim Arab nations, and partly to genuinely find a way through the many years of terrible tensions in that area. It virtually replaced an earlier effort known as the 'Oslo Peace Accord', which was finally seen as of no use, partly through the reaction to it, when it appeared to have failed. The Arab reaction from 2000 was increased and continuous terrorist incidents against Israeli citizens, and especially it's soldiers; called 'An Intefada' by the Palestinians.

Late in the Bush era, still as President of the USA, another deliberate attempt to resolve a number of emerging issues, based on the concepts in the "Road Map", and some initiatives of the Arab Leaders. This was done by calling for many interested people (especially representatives of some Arab nations) to be involved in a conference named after the place in which it was held: Annapolis, in November 2007.

The main line of discussion was that steps should be taken slowly as agreements could be reached. No definite steps were agreed on except that efforts for 'peace' should be pursued. At this time the proposals by some Arab nations made in 2002, were made known, but it had very similar, though more precise agreements in it, which would enforce a more Anti-Israel line. The apparently 'important offer' to Israel was to "normalise" trade and other relations with all Muslim Nations, in return for Israel's considerable concessions, to the Palestinian Arabs.

All these offers rested on the repeated demands by the Palestinian Leaders to 'concede' Land to them, but especially a large part of Israel's Capital City of Jerusalem, including the 'Temple Mount', where God's Temple was twice situated - a specifically chosen site.

The details of "the Road Map" vary, according to who may be presenting them.

>  The starting point is the claim by the Arab residents of a large part of the Biblical land of Samaria and Judea, (called "The West Bank" by them) to be the area declared as a Palestinian State.

>  This piece of land was taken back by Israel from the Jordanians who had been given this territory in the 1920', in a fair, short war of 1 week in 1967.

>  As a result, King Hussein of Jordan relinquished the area to the Israelis, leaving it to Israeli control.

> Therefore Israel has tried to supervise the area in helpful ways, servicing it with water, electricity, sewerage needs, roads, etc but limiting the potential for attacks against Israel, partly with army manned 'road blocks'.

> The Jews gradually occupied some parts of it, building what are now large cities, (called 'Settlements') surrounded by Arab Palestinian residents.

> In 2003, The Palestinians, represented by President Abbas and Israel by P.M. Sharon, in the presence of President George W. Bush, and King Abdullah II of Jordan agreed to pursue a settlement between the two entities in a public signing ceremony at Sharm El Sheik.

> Sadly, in the last 6 years, changing events such as a two new Governments in Israel by February 2009 has meant that any tentative steps that were made have been virtually lost.

> There have been other serious developments on the Arab Muslim Palestinian side, as well. Not the least of these is the growing tensions between the Fatah Political Party, headed by Mahmoud Abbas mainly on the 'West Bank', and the Hamas Party, mainly in the Gaza area, with stronger control since a vicious 'coup' mid-year 2007.

> Mid-year 2009, something of an ultimatum has been issued by USA to the parties, with direct help from Egypt to resolve their differences in order to better facilitate progress toward a State for all the Palestinians.

So it is obvious, that there are numerous, difficult issues towards anything like a peaceful agreement between Israelis and the Palestinians.

Discerning Christians can see this is a Spiritual battle, between Israel's LORD God, and the evil power behind Islam.

THE REPEATED, FINAL GOAL: THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TWO SEPARATE STATES.
The final goal, if all the agreements were put into place - would be, that after the first parts are fulfilled, there would follow the creation of an autonomous 'Palestinian State' in the area next to the present State of Israel, which would mean the dividing off of the very heart of Israel, (with a part of Jerusalem as their Capital) conceding Samaria and Judea to Islam.

For Bible reading Believers,  the whole of this territory was given by Israel's God, to Israel. Joshua 1: 1 - 5 is a clear record.

1. Israel has been more forthright in demanding that Israel be declared as a Jewish State.

This has added to the difficulties in finding an agreement with the Muslim parties involved, (including within Israel, where there are 1.2 million Arabs who enjoy full rights in Israel and even have their own representatives in the Government.) This has been used (understandably) as a 'stalling tactic' by Israel, to delay the difficult, virtually impossible aspects of finding agreement with the Palestinians, in all ways.

2. The Palestinian Muslim Arab Leaders are becoming more dogmatic about what their State should be.

• Their main demands, (with many other points) are:

• The withdrawal of control of the 'West Bank' by Israel and return to earlier Boundaries; (some say as in 1947, some say before the 1967 war) is a difficult question to be agreed to.

• Who would control the area and how, with or without an armed militia, - is a big issue. Also the ongoing status of the large 'Settlements' of Jews, who some say should leave the area, but which Israel is keen to maintain.

• A further demand is the return of the (so-called) Arab refugees to the present Land of Israel. This is complicated by the definition of 'refugees' and because after 60 years their numbers by population growth would 'swamp' Israel. If there are concessions - what should they be - is a key question.

• There are other issues, such as use and sharing of resources, especially water.

• The demand for the division of Jerusalem to allow Palestinians a 'Capital' - is the most difficult issue.

But the main issue for both sides is the dividing of 'God's Land'.

1. The possible abandonment of the so-called 'West Bank' - the very heartland of Samaria and Judea to the control of the Palestinians, (and not the Israeli Government, as has been the situation since 1967), is unthinkable to any Bible reading people, especially the Orthodox branches of Judaism.

2. Even greater, is the thought of the dividing of the City of Jerusalem, -anathema to most Jews, especially those in Israel who regard it as the "eternal, indivisible Capital of Israel", especially the sacred 'Temple Mount Area' - which Muslims currently control with very little say by the Israeli Government!

Any area of Jerusalem, given to the Palestinians, as their 'Capital' would immediately become the property and central focus of Muslims world wide, in the name of Allah!

THE UNDERSTANDING OF MANY ‘CHRISTIAN ZIONISTS’
REGARDING ISRAEL.

• By 'Christian Zionists' is meant: Bible reading Believers in Jesus/ Yeshua, who believe that as part of God's End Time Plan, Israel and the Jewish people are now, in a time of fulfillment of God's plans and purposes for them, including being established as a Nation State, in their own Land.

• The Tanakh/ O.T. has very many Scriptures to emphasise these beliefs. The very fact of Israel’s existence as a viable, modern nation on the actual Land Biblically and historically possessed by them, after 1,948 years, is a visible evidence of these Prophesied Scriptures being fulfilled! [Eze. 36.]

• Fulfilled prophecy has been seen in other ways too, like making the Land fruitful, especially since their establishment as a Nation from 1948 on, and this inspite of many attacks from their Muslim neighbours.

• Spiritually speaking, it is clear that the 'battle' between each group is a spiritual battle between the LORD God of Israel and Allah the god of Islam. Politics and property and people are the ingredients...

• Therefore the prayers and concern by Evangelical Christians is very real and necessary as part of our love for God's Purposes, for His People, the Jews, and for His Land. [This does not mean we are not concerned for the spiritual welfare of all Arabs and non-Jews, as God Himself is, in His great Love.]

• We are Christian Zionists ourselves. Many Torah reading Jews have similar beliefs, even if it is not with a full understanding of God's plans. Being informed and standing on God's Word is essential!

• Like Daniel, the discernment of the Word of God, and the actual events that are happening, together should drive us to be real intercessors, 'standing in the gap' for God's People to see the fulfillment of ALL God's purposes!

The one purpose that is often missed, is the final spiritual salvation of the Jewish People, making them into a Holy People to honour Him!

THIS CLEAR GUIDING PRINCIPLE MUST BE GOD'S GLORY ~ IN THE FULFILLING OF HIS WILL.

God’s glory - in the vindication of all His purposes and promises being realised in these times, is vital! We need to grasp this.
God’s words to Abraham are still true, “I will bless you and make you a blessing.” God's purpose is to restore Israel, to the Land and spiritually ~ bring them into complete and total blessing! This is described well in Ezekiel 36.

Above all, we believe, for their spiritual restoration to their God,
through the way He has chosen ~acceptance of His Son ~ in a new Covenant relationship with Himself.

HOW CHRISTIAN'S CONCERN FOR THE LAND OF ISRAEL, IS BEING EXPRESSED AT PRESENT.

Many Christian writers have expressed a deep concern about the goal of the ‘Road Map’. The concern is about "the dividing of the Land" and the consequences, both within Israel, and for the nations who are promoting this 'solution' to the ongoing violence. A verse from Joel is used to emphasise this fear, (ch.3: 2- 2^nd half of the verse “…for they scattered My People among the nations and divided My Land.”) Notice: it is clear it is God’s Land.

>Therefore grave warnings are being given to anyone, especially America, for letting the Land to be divided and especially the handing over of part of it to those who hate Israel and Israel’s God.

>Christians and religious Jews gave prayers and warnings widely of disasters at the time of the withdrawal from Gaza and other small areas, in 2005. [However it should be noted that nations not involved in this issue suffered huge disasters of earthquakes, eruptions, mudslides, fires and floods at that time. See here.

>  With the election of P.M Netanyahu in 2009, new fears are being expressed, as he has said clearly he is against most of the Arab Plans, yet the pressure for Israel to make concessions to the Arab, and Western world is very real.

>  It seems Obama and others with him have already worked out the point-by-point issues they are going to try to enforce.

>  By the end of June 09 Netanyahu had reluctantly agreed for the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the 'West Bank' and removal of many 'check points' to allow Palestinians free movement.

It seems either Netanyahu will have to concede
 much more, or lose control of the Government.
Therefore many Zionists, especially
Christian Zionists are very concerned!

HOWEVER, HERE ARE SOME ADDITIONAL ASPECTS WE NEED TO CONSIDER?

• Division of the Land is not new! While the above is stating a fact of God's principles, the dividing of the total area of Land, promised to Israel has been enacted many, many times, and therefore the punishments for so doing have also been true. However because it has happened many times in the last 2000 years, and God is Sovereign, it would seem God Himself has allowed the divisions. In actual fact Israel has never owned the whole ‘Promised Land’ even in the time of Solomon! We do not believe God was sleeping! [But ~ God is very patient! ~ E.G. It seems He waited maybe 4000 years before the promise of Genesis 3: 15 to punish Satan permanently, was fulfilled in the death of Yeshua/ Jesus in AD 33!]

• The dimensions of the Land are clearly given in several places in the Tanakh, (O.T.) see Joshua 1: 4 & Numbers 34: 1 –12. - Briefly, since it reaches to the Euphrates River, it should include all of Lebanon and a large part of today’s Syria and Jordan and both sides of the River Jordan. Maps in many Bibles will show this. One day they will be restored to Israel, because God cannot lie and He has written it in places like Ezekiel 36: 10 –15. Yet Lebanon and most of Syria are divided from God's Israel's NOW.

• Possible incorrect use of one verse. Another problem is that the whole context of this verse in Joel 3, is not usually commented on, because the 1^st phrase of the verse quoted, speaks of the tragic act of "scattering My people," which historically has been true about nations like the Romans. Therefore if the present regime, (especially USA) were at fault in this aspect they certainly would deserve God's punishments. Yet the truth is that USA has done more than any nation in recent years, not only to assist aliya, (immigration) of Jewish people back to Israel, (along with some European nations) than almost any nation, and have helped them in many other ways, including giving Israel millions of dollars!

• Not only ‘Nations’ are involved in the massive support for Israel. Many thousands of individual Christians and Jews are involved in these projects of assisting the return of Jewish people, and raising both money and awareness of the issues regarding modern Israel. Surely they should not be judged harshly by God for this verifiable support, remembering God said, “those who bless Israel, I will bless.”  Evangelical Christians help Israel (and Arabs) greatly and sacrificially!

• Criticism is easy; efforts to find solutions should be recognised. The present motive of the “Quartet”, and other nations, in seeking to relieve the horrific suffering on both sides must surely be recognised? Maybe other Scriptures should also be applied at this time, such as 'blessed are the peacemakers''? Let's be fair if we can, and not take one isolated verse to prove a point, but the whole tenor of Scripture,

• God Himself has great Plans for Israel but His ways are not always our ways, as the Prophet Habakkuk had to learn! It is possible that God will allow a time of ‘false peace’ as predicted in the prophet Ezekiel’s book, and it could come about by somehow allowing the Palestinians a temporary State! God uses even stupid human plans for His own purposes, very often

• God has His own timing, as well. Another observation is, that the context of most of Joel 3, which is the Scripture many Christian teachers are using, (i.e. a time of judgement), 3-8 refers to some events which did happen 586B.C. and AD70 -135, but in the light of verse 1 about a time when God "has restored the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem" and the rest of the chapter still await a specific fulfillment at what would seem to be a later time, that is: at the battle of 'Armageddon', not the present situation. Please study this! Scripture verses should be kept in their context, even when they touch on several time frames and various events sometimes within one chapter!

SOME CHALLENGING ALTERNATIVE SCRIPTURAL CONCLUSIONS!

Because the spiritual renewal of Israel is a priority with God in His restorative programme, as outlined in many Biblical passages, such as Isaiah 40- 44 & 48 -49, 51-55, & 62, Jeremiah 30- 31,32 v.38 -ch33, especially Ezekiel 36 -39. In Zechariah 12:9 God says, "On that day I will set out to destroy all the [specific] nations that attack Jerusalem. And I will pour out the House of David, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look to Me..."  ~ These words should surely be our guidelines in seeking to determine how to pray for Israel at this time? Jews must come to God in trust.

[Its possible this will happen before any Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus.]

It seems God has even portrayed this revival as in a 'video' - exactly what it will take to bring Israel to the point of calling on their God as Saviour; as Paul [Romans 11] clearly says they will do.

In the Bible they are called 'visions' but no video or vision could be more specific than the 4 visions described in the chapters of Ezekiel 36, 37, (2parts) and finally in chapters 38 & 39! The reason for this amazing description of events for Israel – a serious situation of threat only - becomes very clear!  [You are welcome to ask for our study on ‘Gog & Magog’.]

 This event appears to be a final terrifying threat
 to Israel that will prove God's love to them!

The climax is written in the last verse of Ezekiel 39. "I will no longer hide My Face, (Jesus/ Yeshua*) from them, for I will pour out My Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD."

THEREFORE, PERHAPS GOD IS PREPARING FOR THAT TIME of SPIRITUAL BLESSING, IN EVENTS RIGHT NOW?

Actual Scriptural pre-cursors to Israel gaining the whole of the Land promised to them.

a)     Israel is to have a short (2 years?) time of (false) peace, as given in Ezekiel 38: 8, 11 & 14. Is this time immanent, and perhaps inspite of the electoral changes in both the Palestinian areas, (Fatah and Hamas); and Israel, (with Likud and coalition of mainly Right-wing Parties), existing there now?

b)     Another strategy of ADONAI could be even to confine Israel into a small place, so in His time God can protect them in a time of extreme danger, and where they will be unable to help themselves militarily - and so they will have to call on God, at last! Perhaps, unseen, God is arranging for parts of the Land to be relinquished now, ready for when He will finally give them all He promised? God wants to do good things for them, as they trust in Him!  Many times He chided them for being ‘stiff-necked and wanting to “do things our way” – without Him!

OUTLINING A POSSIBLE SCENARIO OF SOME SUBSEQUENT FUTURE EVENTS IN ISRAEL.

1. Here is a verse that may suggest 'the Road Map' is exactly what God will use!

> Isaiah 26:20, "Go, My People enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; [in your sealed rooms], hide yourselves for a while until His wrath has passed by...”  Perhaps this verse not only refers to individual sealed rooms in every home, but maybe God wants to shut Israel up into a small area of Land, for the reasons given above. Did you notice them? To be in desperate need, and to call on GOD! “For whoever calls on the Name of the LORD will be saved.” –in every way!

> It has been commented on rightly, that Eretz Israel is GOD'S to give as He has promised, but perhaps we need to also remember, He will give it in His own time. Even making a 'Covenant with Jerusalem' (as Israel and Jews around the world did some years ago), may have given God sorrow, because He wants them to accept HIS NEW COVENANT with HIMSELF! Jeremiah 31:31-36; and Luke 22:20, Jesus said,

"This Cup is the New Covenant in My blood..."

2. The shocking reality could be ~ that God will even allow the division of - Jerusalem!
God knows, and has even foretold some very specific events that WILL happen in the City of Jerusalem. For the first time since the re-unification of Jerusalem, Israel did, in 2006, have a Government in power that stated the division of the City as a possibility. Therefore He may even allow changes in Government so part of Jerusalem can be given to the Muslims who are demanding part of it to be made a Palestinian Capital! This seems unthinkable by Bible/Tanakh readers, but of course some Scriptures, being in the B’rit Chadashah/ New Testament are not known by most Jewish people. [These Scriptures in Revelation chapter 11, especially, are the subjects again, of another study/ article about ‘Jerusalem’s Future’.]

However there's no double that God WILL yet reclaim ALL the Land of Israel, as promised!

3. Yet there are specific prophesies of Jerusalem’s Future.
These are in the Revelation 11.  In this description, the City has been restored and a third Temple rebuilt on the Temple Mount. It says, (the Prophet John writing), “I was given a measuring stick and told, ‘get up & measure the Temple of God & the Altar and count how many people are worshipping there!’ “  

Then follows a specific series of events, ensuring that, (we believe) the city will NOT be destroyed, (as many teachers say), but be “trampled over” by hundreds of sight-seers… Part of the world’s fascination, but also animosity, will be directed against Two inspired, God-sent powerful Prophets of the True God who serve in Jerusalem, at great risk. Finally, to the great joy of most of the godless, False-messiah worshipping world, the Two will be killed.

4. World news will then report: “MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE HITS JERUSALEM. 7, 000 dead.”
Revelation, 11: 13 [JNT] describes it. “There was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the City collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were awe-struck & gave glory to the God of Heaven.”  We have no way of knowing who the 7,000 will be, yet the implication is that they are under judgement from God, and perhaps they do not serve Him, and they should not be there

Therefore in the light of our present demographics of Jerusalem, and the desire of the Muslim Palestinians to wrongfully claim part of this special, God-chosen City for themselves, this could surely, at some point, invite God’s punishments on them? See Psalm 64!

IN THE LIGHT OF THIS KNOWLEDGE, WE NEED TO ENSURE WE ARE NOT PRAYING AGAINST GOD’S PLANS!
Perhaps 'The Road Map Agreement' IS what God wants?

1.  Several times in Biblical situations the danger of standing against God was made known. We should not do that.
Some examples are Habakkuk, and by Gamaliel, (Acts 5:38-39) and even Paul had to admonish his loving friends about accepting the higher will of God even if it meant some suffering. (Acts 21:10-13.)

It is good that in these times God has raised up such godly Christian people to form worldwide organisations to stand with, pray for and give millions of dollars to Israel. God has already used them and all the individuals involved, but maybe there is a time for listening to a warning voice (such as Huldah the prophetess, 2 Chron. 34), as well as other prophets, (praise God), speaking for Him even in our days.

A major reason for concern at this time is partly because in the eyes of the Muslim and non-Christian world, it is seemingly 'Christian' nations which are aligned to a degree in the present promotion of 'The Road Map'

Yet that could be God’s way of winning some Muslim Peoples’ respect, ready for the day when they will be challenged to hear the true Christian message? We may not 'know it all' but one thing we do know!  

We long for the GLORY of ISRAEL'S GOD to be SEEN, inspite of difficulties!

2. The ‘Road Map’ may even provide a further needed time for the Gospel to be made known.

• The main end time sign and ‘key’ to the return of Israel’s Messiah to this Earth to reign from Jerusalem, is that “this Gospel of the Kingdom will be made known in all the World, and then the End will come.”  

• So a possible ‘time gap’ of a few years of false peace will give time for Romans 10:14-15 to be fulfilled? ”Everyone who calls on the Name of the ADONAI the LORD will be delivered. But how can they call on Someone if they haven’t trusted in Him? And how can they trust in Someone if they haven’t heard about Him? And how can they hear about Someone if no-one is proclaiming Him?” [JNT]

• The distribution of the 'Jesus' video and the great work of outreaches in Israel and the work of all the Organisations God has raised up, reaching right across the M.E. could yet need a little more time.

• Maybe 'the Road Map' will give a few more years of opportunity, before God Himself delivers Israel from the worst threat they will have ever faced!

Then "they will know that He is the Sovereign LORD" and recognise Yeshua as Saviour and Messiah!

We do not offer these thoughts in a dogmatic way, but we remember God’s Words, specifically to Israel in Jeremiah 29:
 
“ ‘I know the plans I have for you’, declares ADONAI, ‘Plans to prosper you, & not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. THEN you will call upon Me and pray to Me and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find me, when you seek for Me with all your heart’.”

And some other precious promises, never yet, fully fulfilled, but applicable to this Earthly life, we believe.
Isaiah 29: 14, 24 & 30: 18 & 19. (There is not room to reprint all here – please look for them.) Here is one:
“Therefore once more I will astound these people, with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the wise will vanish.

Therefore this is what ADONAI, Who redeemed Abraham says to the House of Yacov: ‘No longer will Yacov be ashamed; no longer will their faces grow pale, when they see among them their children, the work of My hands.

They will keep My Name holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Yacov,
And will stand in awe of the God of Isra’el'.
He rises to show you compassion.”

IF AND WHEN THE 'ROAD MAP' PROVISIONS ARE AGREED ON ~
THESE ARE SOME DEEP CONCERNS WE HAVE:

A. What if the Palestinians DO get their own State on the West Bank, with a large part of Jerusalem divided to give them a 'Capital City', plus other concessions they are demanding? Surely this would seemingly give Islam the upper hand? Will not this shake the faith of ex- Muslim Christians greatly and even increase the persecution they face...?

B. What about the many good, Evangelical Christians who are desperately lobbying and ‘fighting’ to ensure that Jerusalem is NOT divided, nor that the Palestinians are given Israel’s heartland of Samaria and Judea ~ nor to finally allow The Palestinians to have their own State? What if it does happen inspite of their efforts?

Our concern is: -

1. For true Christians. That if the above result ~ IS the final result of a ‘peace agreement’ the faith of many Christians could be seriously undermined. This would (sadly) fulfill other prophecies such as given by Yeshua that "Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold." However IF true Christians could see right NOW that God has a greater strategy for Israel than preventing the steps of the 'Road Map', then they could rejoice and "See the salvation of God" when He punishes Israel's enemies (in the 'Ezekiel War') and God does more than they are asking now, by giving the whole Land promised to Israel, so they will finally able to claim it as in Ezekiel 36 and the verses above!

2. The non-believing Secular world. Many secular people, some Jews, and the world Media would simply accept that anyone basing their ideas on God or the Bible were proved wrong.
So the Name of the LORD God will be dishonoured... NOW - could be the time for Christians and Messianic Jewish Believers to emphasise that God IS in control of what happens for Israel, even if it seems 'dangerous' and different from the Biblical covenant with Israel.
[Israel has been divided many times - remember?]

3. Liberal and Orthodox Religious groups. Conversely there is another large group of nominal 'Christian' and Orthodox [e.g. Roman Catholic, etc] Christians, plus Muslims, who DO want Jerusalem divided and the City made into an ‘Inter-faith World Centre’, denying the sovereignty of Jerusalem to the Jews and Israel, and dividing it among Muslims, Jews and ‘Christians’ in some strange way.

But note! Muslims would only agree to a shared City as a temporary agreement!
However, God will not give His glory to any other god, or man-made system, and this will be shown very clearly within a few years of the Road Map being allowed to happen and Jerusalem being divided among false religious groups. Our God is a very patient God.

4. Other good, but uninformed Christians are ‘sorry’ for the Arab Palestinians and believe they (as Christians) are being impartially ‘loving’, (as Jimmy Carter’s book declares) by giving them some part of Jerusalem, plus their own State.  It is not 'loving' to give God's treasures to those who will only use it against HIM. These people have NO idea how powerful, and evil the Satanic Spirit behind Islam really is! 
Yet God may allow the Muslim Plans to actually happen!

Whoever meddles in the plans that God has for His own Jewish People, will finally feel the anger of God. [Yet God longs for ALL people to become members of His family though His Son.] But anyone who stands against God will be cursed. "He who blesses Israel will be blessed and anyone who curses [including damaging Israel, in any way] will be cursed."

5. The majority of the world 'powers'. Most of the Political groups of nations, like the 'Quartet', [UNO, USA, EU, Russia] as well as 'non-aligned nations' such as China, India and of course the 57 Muslim nations all think that the Palestinians Arab Muslims, should have their own State, totally ignorant of the real implications. There is a delusion that all other problems will also be solved!

They would in fact only be laying the ground ready for the next event, the 'Ezekiel War', in which possibly millions of Muslims will die, and bring an even worse World Power onto the world scene!  [As described in Revelation 13.]

However Islam, worldwide, would feel empowered and would be so happy!

It will surely be the very encouragement they want in their plans against Israel, but their pride will go before a great fall!

Yet it will be GOD WHO ALLOWS IT, SO THAT HE CAN
FINALLY DESTROY THE EVIL POWER OF ISLAM! ~
[Not all Muslims, please note.]
So this is where WE must trust God totally!

This message is similar to what Jeremiah gave in his day.
God's ways are mysterious enough to use
what seems bad ~ for ultimate blessing!

This is the basis of our urgent prayers, for Believers in Israel and around the world to really know GOD’s will and HIS purposes, which will end in HUGE blessings for Israel even if the intervening events develope in exactly the opposite way to our understanding.

It just may be that God will allow evil for a time - by "dividing the Land".
HE is Sovereign! He loves His Jewish People! In love He uses hard methods for hard hearts! We may live to see Israel become a Holy Nation!
GOD HAS PROMISED THIS AS A CERTAINTY.

May we have the grace to say as Habakkuk did:
"I will stand at my watch-post, and station myself on the ramparts;
I will look to see what He will say to me,
and what answer I am to give to this complaint."
AMEN.
